The Augustin Organic Fruit Farm KG
In 1998, Katrin and Dierk founded the Augustin Organic Fruit Farm KG. The Augustin Organic Fruit Farm KG market the apples from their own farm as well as the apples and pears of four additional Demeter farmers in the region, including those of Katrin Augustin's two brothers.
They all produce their fruits according to the same high quality standards and are in constant communication with each other in order to share information and experience. Cultivation and harvesting is jointly planned and precisely coordinated. This is truly genuine TQM (Total Quality Management), so that the Augustin Demeter apples have become a symbol for first class quality.
The Augustin Organic Fruit Farm KG will be marketing approx. 3,500 tons of apples in 2007/ 08 by means of the Demeter agriculture described here.
Augustin apples are sold in Northrhine-Westfalia, Berlin, Northern Germany as well as Saxony and Thuringia. Even in Scandinavia, Augustin Organic Fruit Farm KG apples are becoming increasingly popular.
